Behavioral Health Program

If your child has mental illness or substance use disorder, there is a special program for Keystone First – CHIP Enrollees you can join to help your child manage their condition.

Call 1-844-524-2447 (TTY 711) to join the Behavioral Health program.

What can the Behavioral Health program do for me?

The Behavioral Health Program can help you:

  • Understand and work on your child’s Mental Illness(es).
  • Work through drug use.
  • Work through alcohol use.

If you need help connecting your child to these services, call 1-844-524-2447 (TTY 711). Your child does not need a referral from their PCP to get behavioral health services. An Enrollee (14 years of age or older) or a parent or guardian may self-refer. Your care coordinator will work with your child’s providers/programs to help you manage these services.

Questions?

If you are a part of but no longer want to be in the Behavioral Health program, call 1-844-524-2447 (TTY 711). Leaving the program will not change your child’s benefits. It will also not change the way Keystone First – CHIP or the Department of Human Services (DHS) treats you or your child.
